The Nyika Plateau is Africa’s answer to Scotland- here you’ll find rolling, ravishing scenery: evergreen woods, tumbling streams, and open moorland. There’s the odd antelope, and dazzles of zebra cantering across the grasslands, but the really highlight of a visit here is the sense of utter wilderness and space. Plus, if you’re seriously into wildlife there are a number of endemic birds and reptiles to be spotted on Nyika.
While you’re here, take day and night drives, hike through the spectacular scenery, and enjoy some supremely satisfying birding.
