Extraordinary Africa>Botswana>Northern Tuli
Until recently the Northern Tuli Game Reserve has been a rather overlooked part of the Botswana safari circuit. Tucked down in the far south of the country, nestled up against the Zimbabwean and South African borders the Tuli block was overlooked by travellers and guidebooks alike. These days, improved links with both Northern Botswana and South Africa are shining light on this hidden gem. This rarely visited part of Botswana has few visitors, but leopards lurk in the riverine forest, sandy riverbeds double as “elephant motorways” and raptors soar on the thermals overhead.
