What we’ll politely term the “eccentricities” of the local airlines mean that many of our guests spend several nights in this beautiful, chaotic, fascinating spot. It’s a city built around 12 hills with a huge amount of history and local culture. Expect rice paddies and historic cobbled streets, intense traffic, red clay-built houses, modern high-rise buildings and zebu carts trundling along at the edge of the city.
