Lovely, sleepy little Rivertrees is a great spot for those who have a night or so to spend in Arusha, whether you’ve just come off an international flight and are winding down, or are putting your feet up after climbing Kilimanjaro. It’s actually just outside Arusha in the sleepy village of Usa River.
What’s Rivertrees Country Inn like?
There are eighteen sweet little garden rooms scattered amongst the grassy tropical gardens. In addition to this, there are two River Cottages, a little larger and more tucked away, and the large River House, which works well for a family. The style is very much a country one, with simple, polished stone floors, white washed walls and high thatched ceilings. There’s a small bar, and a restaurant serving wholesome, home cooked meals.
